Nice to meet you! I'm Vinson Feng, a 21 year old college student at Cornell University Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, passionate about art, design, fashion, and everything in between. Currently, I am majoring in applied economics and management (AEM) with a concentration in marketing and a minor in user experience (UX).
Prior to enrolling in Cornell University, I was a student at CUNY Baruch College, exploring potential career paths that appealed to my personal passions and interests. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I was always heavily infatuated with the vibrant and ever-evolving art and fashion scene of New York City and its impact on the evolution of youth culture. With innovative and creatively-provocative fashion marketing campaign designs sprouting all throughout the city recognized for its unparalleled style and artistry, I knew that I wished to pursue a career that allowed me to utilize creative problem solving skills to develop my personal design philosophy. Upon successfully transferring to Cornell University, I was introduced to the world of user experience design, which revolutionized my outlook on the applications and relationships between innovative and intuitive design and dynamic marketing principles.
Through completion of various projects through my university's UX courses as well as extracurricular commitments and opportunities, I have honed my design capabilities, utilizing a user-centric approach to design website and mobile applications in response to evolving consumer/user demands and shifting industry trends.
